The following patch is the original patch of the 18th Aviation Company and was designed at Fort Riley Kansas by Capt. Carl Yoder, Capt. George Baker, and Capt. Rubeum Black on that afternoon in the summer of 1959. 



(This may have been a locally procured patch, however there is no record of this patch at the  Institute of Heraldry.)
